Kazakhstan - active partner of the North Atlantic in Central Asia - NATO

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Almaty hosts a 2-day scientific and practical conference which is participated by NATO coordinators, diplomatic corps of Kazakhstan, and the Central Asian and foreign experts.

"NATO fully supports this event, and sees it as an excellent opportunity for experts from Kazakhstan and the Central Asian countries to meet and discuss the issues related to regional security and further enhancement of the partnership," said Alexander Vinnikov, NATO's liaison officer to Central Asia.

According to his words, Kazakhstan is an active partner of the North Atlantic Community in Central Asia which has the most advanced program of cooperation called "Individual Partnership Action Plan".
