SHYMKENT. July 20. KAZINFORM Driver of VAZ 21154 car after driving into the oncoming traffic lane collided with KamAZ truck along the Yerkpindy-Birlik highway in South Kazakhstan region, the press service of the regional internal affairs department said.

Two women passengers died at the scene. The driver and a 5-year-old child were rushed to hospital. The KamAZ driver, 70, suffered no injuries.

The criminal investigation has been launched.
