Benefits for students
The right course may be a major factor when choosing a university, but the social scene is just as important. This is the place where you'll make friends and professional contacts which can last for life.
RGU has two campuses: Garthdee, beside the River Dee and home to our £10m sport centre; and the City Centre Campus, location of the Student Union and the base for Freshers' Week, societies and year-round events. There is a wide variety of sports clubs and societies that you can get involved with.
Joining a club or society is an ideal way to meet new friends and develop skills that will enhance your CV. If there is an activity that you are interested in but it is not represented, we will help you to set up a club or society.
Two Infozones, one on each campus, are your 'one-stop shop' for all non-academic queries, support and advice. From travel to tuition fees, accommodation to application forms, finance to free time Infozone can help.
If you're an international student we can assist with Visa information before you travel to Aberdeen, as well as with orientation and other help on arrival. Our Disability and Dyslexia Advice and Support service aims to make RGU's learning environment accessible to everyone, as well as help students with specific support needs.
