PETROPAVLOVSK. July 16.KAZINFORM A car accident happened during the weekend in North Kazakhstan region, as a result of which one man died and four citizens of Germany got hurt, local police say.

The accident occurred at night time on Chelyabinsk-Novosibirsk highway when a tractor driver collided with a Volkswagen car.

The 50-year-old Volkswagen driver died at the scene. Four passengers - citizens of Germany - including an 8-year-old child were hospitalized with various injuries.

An investigation of the accident has been initiated by the police.
